Last night was awesome and I had a fabulous time hanging out with everyone at Signature. Today I spent all day holed up in my apartment, just enjoying my kitty’s company and thinking about 2008. A lot of really awesome things happened, and a few bad things happened. It started at Tony’s house with a bunch of my old friends from high school who I love and adore, and ended at Signature with a bunch of my new friends who I am growing to love. I went to New York City and spent 10 days soaking up world-class theatre and city life. A couple months later, I fell in love. In May, I finally graduated from college with a BA in Theatre. Two weeks were spent in Florida which was so much fun. After I got back from that, I got engaged to the boy I loved more than anyone else in the world. Finally, in September, I got an amazing job at Signature Theatre that I immediately started and I also moved to Arlington so I didn’t have to commute 2.5 hours a day from Harrisonburg. Thanksgiving was a welcome break from life with my family, but then in early December the worst thing I could imagine happened, and my engagement ended. Fortunately, my friends were there to help me and I am incredibly lucky to have them. Christmas was so perfect, and it could not have come at a better time. New Year’s was a lot of fun, and I’m really happy that I went.
So that’s my 2008 in a nutshell. Here’s to a happy and safe 2009 for everyone!!
Hey girlfriend. Let’s have drinks again soon, ok? Maybe this week?
